LOCATION
Located on the throttle body valve or in the intake pipe.
MOST COMMON FAULTS:
- Obstruction or dirt on the component in closed or open position
- Oxidation of external and internal connections
- Malfunctioning of opening or closing micromotors
- Loss of tightness due to cracks
- Valve stem blockage
COMMON FAULT SYMPTOMS
- Unstable idle speed (too low or too high)
- Uncontrolled rpm increase
- Revolutions too low
- Unstable revolutions
- Vehicle shuts off if the driver does not press the accelerator pedal
