Element in charge of measuring the engine oil pressure and indicating it to the vehicle’s control system, ECU. If the system detects that there is not an adequate pressure for a correct performance, the oil light will be activated on the dashboard and may even stop the vehicle.
LOCATION
Located in the oil upstream line to the cylinder head after the oil pump outlet.
