An important component in electronic fuel injection systems in vehicles. Its main function is to monitor and send the throttle butterfly position information to the engine control module (ECM) or engine control unit (ECU).
LOCATION
The location of the throttle position sensor may vary by vehicle model and year. However, in most cases, the throttle position sensor is located on the throttle shaft on the intake manifold.
COMMON FAULT SYMPTOMS
