TYPES
Glove compartment switch | Button responsible for opening the glove compartment of the vehicle’s dashboard. |
Tailgate switch | Element responsible for opening the trunk or the rear door of the vehicle automatically. |
Outside rearview mirror switch | Switch that controls the position of the vehicle’s mirrors. |
Door lock switch | In older vehicles, this switch was simply used to turn on the ceiling light. In modern vehicles, the body ECUs are informed as well as the position table where the corresponding door is located. |
Parking brake switch | Component that allows to indicate whether the parking brake is activated or deactivated. |
Fuel tank switch | Element responsible for opening the fuel filler flap of the vehicle. |
Hood lock switch | Switch that triggers the opening of the hood. |
