FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR

FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR

Also known as a fuel rail pressure sensor, this component monitors fuel pressure in the common rail and informs the vehicle control unit, ECU, to open of the injectors so the fuel-air mixture is adequate.

LOCATION

It is usually located on the fuel rail.
