Valve Testing Module Alfa HT1, an innovative diagnostic tool to avoid guarantees

Alfa e-Parts offers to his customers a technical solution for checking electrical EGR and throttle valves

Alfa e-Parts, new brand of electrical and electronic components for the automotive industry, and which is part BBB Industries, leading American company in the remanufacturing industry, presents an innovative tool that will allow its customers to avoid erroneous warranties for EGR and throttle valves that in reality are not.

The Valve Testing Module Alfa HT1 is a technical solution designed and developed by the brand, completely new and unparalleled in the sector. It supposes a technical support for its clients, who will be able to check the operation of the valves, and thus diagnose faults in the valve systems. Thanks to this, unnecessary procedures for incorrect guarantees can be avoided.

HOW IT WORKS?

The Valve Testing Module Alfa HT1, once the valve is connected, open and close the valve repeatedly at different speeds. All signals are recorded and compared versus the pattern signal previously set in the tester. At the end, it will show if the performance is correct or incorrect.

The operation is very intuitive, and following a few simple steps, in a few minutes the client has a diagnosis:

  • Select the part number of the EGR or throttle valve to check.
  • The interface tells the code of the cable that must connect.
  • When the test is started, the tester performs a series of openings and closings of the valve at different speeds, thus covering all the possibilities of working speed.
  • During the test, the tester records the sensor position signal over the entire valve path.
  • This signal is displayed graphically on the screen and is compared to a previously recorded standard signal.
  • After the comparison, the result obtained is shown on the screen of the tester, to know in a few minutes.
  • if the valve has a correct operation.

The Valve Testing Module Alfa HT1 is delivered with the following elements:

  • Black box with a touch screen, including an electronic control board.
  • Power connector and set of cables to carry out tests.
  • Adapter cables.
  • Instruction manual.
  • Metallic support to have everything together and tidy.
  • Mat to place the valves.

The verifier is connected to internet and is updated with new valve part numbers which are added to the Alfa e-Parts catalog, so it never becomes obsolete and is up to date with all the news.

After surprising in his presentation at Motortec Fair, Alfa e-Parts has launched almost 5,000 part numbers to the market, divided into 10 families and 13 subfamilies. They are committed to a product 100% designed, manufactured and tested under rigorous and demanding quality tests, a wide range that will not stop growing (about 6,000 new part numbers annually), and a service that meets the expectations of his customers (taking advantage of the logistics of the BBB Industries group brands).

The next step for Alfa e-Parts is to offer this useful solution to its customers, who with this novelty will be able to check the correct operation of its wide range of more than 200 EGR valves and 20 throttle valves. For more information about this product, you can consult the explanatory brochure on its website.
